Profile
Brendan spent eighteen years at Goodyear across multiple country and business operations throughout Asia Pacific. Operating in diverse cultural settings made him an empathic leader who can find the balance between following due process and creating the conditions for a team to be nurtured and transformed. As a key leader across manufacturing, wholesale and retail channels he built the toolkit to create and execute strategies, and as a project leader he turned underperforming business units and factories into profitable, trusted ones.
More recently he stepped in as interim CFO at a consumer brand to support the management team through a capital raise. During that period he cut the financial close cycle from three weeks to five days, built a commercial contract review process, and introduced cashflow modelling to support liquidity decisions.
He currently works as a strategic consultant leading a due diligence process with incoming owners, coordinating external legal firms, internal resources and the acquiring management team to complete diligence for a bond issue, alongside process improvement work with the finance team.
