Work
What the team has actually done.
We have used the phased approach across health, automotive, financial services, mining, sport, infrastructure and consumables. Some engagements ended at a single consultation. Others ran through to us delivering the recommendations.
Sectors
Where we have worked
Sector knowledge matters less than most consultancies claim, but it is not nothing. Here is where ours comes from.
Track record
Results delivered in operating roles
Before FourPhase, the team ran the businesses rather than advising them. These are outcomes members of the team delivered from the inside, which is the experience the consulting work draws on.
Financial close
Three weeks to five days
As interim CFO, rebuilt the financial close cycle while the management team was occupied with a capital raise, and introduced commercial contract review and cashflow modelling alongside it.
Market entry
AUD 200 million in assets
Led the market entry for a finance business in Australia and New Zealand, secured AUD 5 million in funding, and reached profitability within three years.
Commercial lending
AUD 9 million secured, delivered early
Funded and launched a commercial lending business line ahead of schedule and under budget, having previously lifted sales coverage to 70 per cent across four brands.
Partnership
7,500 vehicles, $243 million
Built a strategic partnership as Business Strategy Manager that delivered retail volume at that scale, then relaunched the commercial division behind it.
Operations
Loss making units turned profitable
Eighteen years across manufacturing, wholesale and retail operations in Asia Pacific, transforming underperforming business units and factories into profitable ones.
Due diligence
Bond issue completed
Coordinated external legal firms, internal resources and incoming owners through the due diligence for a bond issue, while running process improvement in the finance team.
Worked example
What a full engagement looks like
A composite, drawn from how these engagements normally run rather than from one client.
Understand
A channel was growing but nobody could say whether it was taking revenue from an existing product or adding to it. Two weeks of internal analysis, data review and benchmarking produced a written problem statement: the question was cannibalisation, and the business had never modelled it.
Design
A scenario model built across three budget levels and three time horizons, showing what each option did to revenue, margin and the existing product line. Options presented with a recommendation and the reasoning shown.
Execute
The client took the recommendation and ran it with a light touch PMO from us: fortnightly governance, a maintained plan and reporting into the exec, with delivery done by their own people.
Review
Return measured against the original model, feedback gathered from the affected teams, and a short report on what to do differently next time. The next phase of work was identified but deliberately deferred.
Clients
Who we have worked with
Client names and logos are published only where the client has agreed to it.

Have a problem that looks like one of these?
The first conversation is free and the first phase is small. Tell us what is happening and we will tell you what we would look at first.
